Top 10 Coolest Amiibo Figures

While they might come off as a bit gimmicky, you can’t deny how interesting Amiibos are. Nintendo’s NFC figures are all based on characters from Nintendo games and in Wii U, 3DS, and Switch games they can do something, like give you an item or help you with a specific task. But we aren’t looking at features today. We’re just looking at which of the Amiibo fugures look the coolest in design. So, let’s take a look at the top 10 coolest Amiibo figures.

Only general Amiibo figures will be accounted for in this video. Amiibo cards or other Nintendo products that act as Amiibo with NFC technology (such as the Power-Up Bands or Mario cereal) will not be included.

With that, let’s begin.

Amazon.com: Nintendo amiibo - Cat Mario - Super Mario Series - Nintendo switch (Japan import)

#10: Cat Mario (Super Mario Series)

Not only is it an Amiibo of Cat Mario (which is just awesome in and of itself) but it also is made with a material that makes it feel a bit rough, and it’s really neat. Plus, the pose and detailed look are amazing.

Amazon.com: Amiibo Guardian - Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild series Ver. [Switch / Wii U]

#9: Guardian (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Series)

For some reason you can twist the Guardian’s legs, which is really weird but also really cool. Plus, the figure just looks really great and just like it does in Breath of the Wild.

Amazon.com: Nintendo Amiibo - Simon - Super Smash Bros. Series - Switch : Video Games

#8: Simon (Super Smash Bros. Series)

The pose of Simon with his whip looking like he just used it looks awesome. The attention detail of the whip is really great, and Simon looks perfect.

Amazon.com: Amiibo Metroid (Metroid series) Japan Import : Video Games

#7: Metroid (Metroid Series)

This really neat Amiibo shows a Metroid crawling on a broken canister. The detail on the cracks in the canister and the Metroid itself are very impressive.

Yarn Poochy amiibo - (Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World Series) – Game Bros LB

#6: Poochy (Yoshi’s Woolly World Series)

Yes, the yarn Yoshi Amiibos are so cute, but this Amiibo that launched with Woolly World’s 3DS port is even cuter. I mean, Poochy with his tongue out made of yarn is simply adorable.

Amazon.com: Mega Man Legacy Collection - Collectors Edition - Nintendo 3DS : Video Games

#5: Gold Edition Mega Man (Mega Man Series)

Though a bit gimmicky, the already beautiful Mega Man Amiibo is even cooler in gold. It might have no reason to exist, but sometimes that’s okay.

Amazon.com: Nintendo Amiibo - Ridley - Super Smash Bros. Series - Nintendo Switch : Video Games

#4: Ridley (Super Smash Bros. Series)

Ridley’s Amiibo for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is neat for several reasons. The design of the platform, the menacing pose of Ridley, and the attention to detail everywhere on the figure. It’s all spectacular.

Amazon.com: amiibo E.M.M.I. [Metroid Dread] (Metroid Series) : Video Games

#3: E.M.M.I. (Metroid Series)

E.M.M.I. from Metroid Dread is just a neat character anyways, and the Amiibo doesn’t contradict that one bit. The design looks like it’s an actual robot, and it looks as frightening as it does in the game.

#2: Link (30th Anniversary Series)

This and the 30th anniversary Mario Amiibo are both really awesome, but I think this one is better since the design is cleaner and Link with his shield looks super cool. Plus, 8-bit Link is cooler than 8-bit Mario.

amiibo Detail

#1: Dark Hammer Slam Bowser (Skylanders Superchargers Series)

While it is a Skylanders Amiibo, it sure is epic. Bowser in this dark, metal gear and his spiky hammer looks really great. Plus, the attention to detail, especially with the platform, look incredible.
