The first Nintendo Direct presentation of 2023 has just been recently announced, and it’s pretty exciting. This morning, Nintendo announced that they would be holding their annual February 2023 video presentation on Wednesday, February 8th, 2023, which is tomorrow at 2:00pm pacific time and 5:00pm eastern time. Nintendo stated that this Direct would include forty minutes focused on announcements for games releasing from until June, however we’ll problem get a few bigger announcements for after June.
This Direct seems like it’ll be a big one, especially with Nintendo announcing they would be absent from E3 2023 this June. That opens the possibility for big games that would be announced at the event to be announced here instead, unless Nintendo is still planning a Direct this year unlike 2022. Also, like I said, this Direct is only ‘focused’ on games releasing in the first half of 2023, meaning there could be some after that. For example, Splatoon 3, which was first announced during the February 2021 Direct, just released in September of 2022. So, yeah, there’s definitely going to be a couple of big announcements for games releasing in late 2023 or even 2024.

Later today I’ll release my BINGO Board of predictions like I did last year, including my 24 biggest predictions for tomorrow’s Nintendo Direct. Tomorrow, I’ll be posting a few things. So, I’m obviously pretty hyped for tomorrow’s Nintendo Direct. I’m not getting my hopes up, but I definitely think we’ll get some big games. Honestly, if we just got The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Pikmin 4, I’d be happy. Since both of those are almost confirmed for the presentation, I believe tomorrow’s presentation will be great. Anyway, let me know what you want from the Direct tomorrow and your top hopes.
