Top 15 Hidden Mickeys at Epcot Center (Road to Walt Disney World’s Top 50 Hidden Mickeys)

Walt Disney World in Florida is filled to the brim with secrets, include a large batch of hidden Mickeys. These come in the form of the three circles making up the silhouette of Mickey’s head that can be found in many forms throughout the Disney resorts, including the four parks, the many resorts, and more. But which are best and most well-hidden? Well, on the road to the 50 greatest hidden Mickeys at Disney World, we’ll be starting with 15 best at each of the four theme parks, continuing with Epcot. This list will only include “hidden” Mickeys, and only ones you can still find at the park as of writing. We’ll also only be including hidden Mickeys in the park itself, not in the nearby resorts. So with that out of the way, let’s begin.

Part Two: Epcot Center

Crown Mickey at Epcot's Germany Pavilion - Hidden Mickeys on ...

#15: The King’s Crown – Germany Pavilion – World Showcase

This isn’t an easy hidden Mickey to spot, but once you do, it’s a pretty cool one – especially since this secret has been at Epcot since its opening. In the Germany pavilion in Future World, look for some statues of German monarchs atop a rooftop. One of them is a bit different than the others, as its crown actually has a small hidden Mickey on the front of the crown. This hidden Mickey has lots of history, since it was added when Epcot opened. Epcot was originally not going to have any Disney characters or themed attractions, so Walt Disney Imagineering added hidden Mickeys in Epcot as a small replacement. This secret was a hidden Mickey, which makes it deserve a spot on this list.

The Living Seas Aquarium Hidden Mickey | Walt Disney World ...

#14: Aqua Mickey – The Seas with Nemo and Friends – World Nature

While The Seas with Nemo and Friends was not my favorite Epcot ride, it did have one of my favorite hidden Mickeys at Epcot. As you pass by the scene with Mr. Ray, look in the background in the ocean itself. On the floor is a class hidden Mickey made out of rock. This one isn’t very hard to spot, as it’s rather big, even though it isn’t facing the riders’ direction. Despite the fact that it’s a bit easy to notice, it’s still a pretty neat hidden Mickey at Epcot.

OG Soarin' Returns in March 2022! - Disney Tourist Blog

#13: Fireworks – Soarin’ – World Nature

Soarin’ is a very unique attraction, and that’s what makes it a classic. You soar over places all across the world, and the ride system makes it actually feel like you’re in a different place. At the end of the attraction, you’ll soar into Epcot to wrap up the adventure. As you fly over Spaceship Earth, fireworks will shoot up into the air, but these fireworks are pretty significant – as they actually form a hidden Mickey. The fireworks are the ears, and Spaceship Earth is the face. It’s not terribly difficult to notice, but it is a nice way to wrap up the attraction, making you feel like you’re back to the world of Disney. Also on Soarin’ you might have notice three hot air balloons in the form of Mickey Mouse.

#12: Totem Pole – Canada Pavilion – World Showcase

In the Canada pavilion, you’ll need to find a specific totem pole to discover a pretty neat hidden Mickey. The hidden Mickey in the picture actually has a hidden Mickey on it. Can you spot it? A hidden Mickey can be found right under the arm on the left next to the second head to the top. While it may be hard to see at first, once you see it you can’t unsee it every time you see the statue. I like seeing hidden Mickeys that are very clear shapes. Perfect circles at the perfect sizes. Perfection.

#11: Wire Mickey – Living with the Land – World Nature

Living with the Land has a ton of hidden Mickeys – more than 10! While most of them are obvious, some aren’t. At one point, you’ll pass by a clear pipe. Look inside to find a small wire gate shaped like Mickey Mouse – and a Minnie Mouse! One of these has a bow, making this Minnie Mouse! I don’t know if there’s any other hidden Minnies at the parks, and if there are it’s very few, so this is a unique secret just for that.

Test Track Hidden Mickeys on Right Queue Wall Epcot - YouTube

#10: An Idea of Mickey – Test Track – World Discovery

You can’t go to Epcot without riding Test Track. Test Track is a classic Epcot attraction, including really difficult and well-hidden Mickeys. One of the more interesting hidden Mickeys can be found on the giant mural on the right wall in the queue. This mural includes a bunch of people. One of these people is a guy writing on a whiteboard, but it looks as if he is writing on the picture. You can see what he’s writing from the mural. One of these is a hidden Mickey. It might be hard to spot at first, but once you spot it, it looks very clear and you can’t unsee it.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Now Open!

#9: In the Model – Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind – World Discovery

The newest attraction at Epcot is Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. There have been very few hidden Mickeys found, but there are a couple. One can be found in the queue for the attraction. At one point, you’ll pass by a model of a Xandarian city. In a green area in the middle, look for a hidden Mickey made of three small domes. Since this is a newer attraction, we won’t show the picture or say the exact location it is in. If you want to find it, just look at this beautiful model and you’ll spot it.

#8: The Chocolate Vine – Living with the Land – World Nature

Living with the Land has a great-many hidden Mickeys, and this one of the good ones. At one point, you’ll pass by a chocolate plant in the garden. You can’t miss it, as it’s shaped very differently from the other plants – it’s shaped like a Mickey head! I think this is definitely the coolest hidden Mickey of all of them on Living with the Land since it’s so cool to see Imagineers made a Mickey-shaped plant. It’s pretty cool. It is a bit obvious, not too easy, which does put this “secret” where it is on the list.

#7: The Equipment on the Sign – Sportsmans Shop – Land

At the UK pavilion in World Showcase, you’ll find the Sportsman’s Shoppe. In this Epcot store, you can find English sports clothing and caps, plus a beautiful decor on the inside. This store also has a hidden Mickey, but it’s a strange one that you have to look closely at to see. On the main sign outside, you’ll see a picture of a tennis racket, a football (soccer in England), a soccer ball (football in England), and two golf clubs. If you look closely at the design, you’ll see a hidden Mickey. The Soccer ball (football) and the football (soccer) are the ears, and the net-part of the racket is the head. See it? I like this hidden Mickey since it is not shaped with circles making it a bit harder to notice, but it is there.

Epcot Japan Pavilion Koi Pond Hidden Mickey | Walt Disney World Resort | Hidden Mickeys | Find Mickeys

#6: Drain Cover – Japan Pavilion – World Showcase

For this difficult-to-find secret, head to the Japan pavilion at World Showcase. As you’re walking in the Japan pavilion, you’ll pass a pond. By the edge of the pond, you might have spotted a drain cover. Nothing special, right? Well, if you look closely at it, you’ll notice this drain cover is a bit different, as it actually has a very small hidden Mickey in the middle. It’s so subtle you’ll probably miss the cover itself if you aren’t looking, let alone this unique hidden Mickey.

#5: Beachside City Building – The Grand Fiesta Tour starring The Three Caballeros – World Showcase

The Grand Fiesta Tour starring The Three Caballeros is a classic Disney dark ride, found in the Mexico pavilion in World Showcase at Epcot. As you tour in your boat through a Mexican city and listen to the Three Caballeros singing, plus some silly Donald the Duck moments, look out for a neat hidden Mickey. As you watch the short video of Donald chasing his bathing suit, look in the background at the beachside city. If you look to the far right, you might notice a uniquely-shaped bush in front of the building. This bush is indeed shaped like a hidden Mickey. There are a couple of really well-hidden Mickeys on The Grand Fiesta Tour, but this one is probably my favorite.

Figment's Toilet Hidden Mickey - Hidden Mickeys on Waymarking.com

#4: Toilet Head – Journey Into Imagination with Figment – World Celebration

Journey Into Imagination might not be the best ride at Walt Disney World, but it does have a neat hidden Mickey to find. This detail can be found in Figment’s upside-down house. In the second room of the house, you’ll find a toilet. The wall is covered in circles as the design. If you look at the toilet at the right angle, it’ll look two circles are in the top corners of the toilet bowl on the ceiling, forming a classic hidden Mickey. It’s neat how you can only see it from this angle with the circles, and it’s also on the ceiling. This is a pretty fun hidden Mickey that seems to have a lot of imagination.

#3: Rockwork – Neptune’s Fountain – World Showcase

As you walk through the Italy pavilion in Future World at Epcot, you’ll pass by Neptune’s Fountain. King Neptunes on the middle rock with two fish next to him. To find this hidden Mickey, check out the rockwork behind the statues. If you stand around the area where the left fish is looking, you can look to the left of the left fish on the rockwork to find this hidden Mickey. It is a bit hard to see if you aren’t at the right angle, but once you see it, it’ll be the only thing you see when you pass this beautiful fountain at Epcot.

8 Totally Cool Things About Spaceship Earth At Walt Disney World - Disney Dining

#2: 3 – Spaceship Earth – World Celebration

A classic, mostly well-known hidden Mickey at Epcot can be found right outside Spaceship Earth. As you exit the attraction, you’ll see a mural of a space station and a planet in the background. The space station has 4 numbers. They’re all red, except for the 3, which is black. If you turn your head, you’ll see a classic Epcot hidden Mickey. This might not be too hard to find, especially since the random black number is a bit obvious, but it’s still a neat secret at Epcot Center.

#1: The Space Mickey – Cargo Bay Gift Shop – World Discovery

If you survived the dreaded Mission: Space and don’t need to sit somewhere for hours, then take a look in the store you exit into called Cargo Bay gift shop to find a unique hidden Mickey – and no, we don’t mean the astronaut Mickey statue in the middle of the shop. Cargo Bay is themed to space, as is the attraction, including decor and products. In the middle of the ceiling, you’ll find a space-themed design. Blue lines connect to a circle in the center of the store. If you look in the middle of this circle, you’ll find a discreet hidden Mickey. This Mickey is a bit different than a normal one, and it looks like the ears are a little farther apart than what you’re used to. But you can’t deny that this is a very clever hidden Mickey and definitely the best and most well-hidden and clever at Epcot.

So, Epcot has a bunch of hidden Mickeys. There are so many to find. Some great ones at the park weren’t included on this list, but that doesn’t mean they are bad. Let me know what your favorite hidden Mickeys are at Epcot in the comments!
