At Ryan’s Fortress, not much has been happening over the summer. The notable releases were the movie reviews in June, the Among Us task ranking in July, and A Toys R Us Kid in September. Now that it’s fall, there’s not much left in 2022. But what will be coming? In this post, I’m going to revealing some of what we’re working on for Ryan’s Fortress in the remainder of the year, plus updates.
Hidden Mickeys
I recently revealed that I was making a post based on the best hidden Mickeys at Walt Disney World. This will be split up into 5 posts: a top 15 for the 4 theme parks (Animal Kingdom will be a top 10), and a top 50 of the resort’s best hidden Mickeys. While these lists are still being made, they are very close to done. So, here are the release dates:

Mario Kart 8 Secrets
I previously teased that I’m planning a new series about all the secrets you missed on Mario Kart 8 Deluxe tracks. I have some ideas of tracks in mind, but am open to suggestions in the comments here, YouTube, or Twitter @RyansFortress. I’m going to start with Sunshine Airport and Super Bell Subway first, then any suggestions I get after that. I want to start working on these as posts and YouTube videos by October once I finish the whole Hidden Mickey lists. I expect to release these 2 posts by the end of 2022, with no specific release date at this time. Stay tuned for more information.
A Toys R Us Kid – Audio Version
Recently I posted my long-awaited script for my Toys R Us documentary. This documentary is currently not in production, but I don’t want to say it’s cancelled because I could pick it up anytime for a 2023 release. However, an audio version is expected to release on my YouTube channel next month. This will just be audio: no video. Stay tuned for an official release date.
Super Mario Maker 2
Super Mario Maker 2 is an oddball right now for Ryan’s Fortress, since the Feature Presentation disaster in June. Everything announced for Mario Maker 2 was either delayed for a while or just cancelled in general. We’re starting to pick it back up, and expect to release a couple of new courses by the end of this year. I won’t reveal these courses today, so stay tuned for more information as I could release a trailer at any time. I can announce that we are finalizing plans for A Master’s Chance 4, and expect to release it in the first half of 2023. I can announce that this level will be a similar design as last year’s Master’s Chance 3, but with more to do. We are planning to add 14 areas instead of 10 to the fourth installment of this long-running TrollKing5 series. We also are starting to make plans for a 5th installment, which will be a level structure closer to the first two levels with a truly linear level design. Expect these two levels in the first 3 quarters of 2023. We also plan to delete some unpopular levels from TrollKing5 next month, so stay tuned for more information.
