Dinamic Park: A Look into Ryan’s First Minecraft Theme Park

I have been playing Minecraft for years and in 2020 I found a map called Newisle City created by Black Noir. I added my own stuff into the map for fun. In 2021, I created Dinamic Park Newsile and it became my first Minecraft theme park. Fast forward 1 year and 1 month, I’ve built 8 theme parks, including 5 major-scale parks. This is part one of me showing these 8 parks. For a more in-depth look, check my YouTube video on the official Ryan’s Fortress YouTube channel. *NOTE: Dinamic is intentionally spelled DIN, instead of DYN, Newsile is intentionally spelled Newsile instead of Newisle.

Part One: Dinamic Park Newsile

Location: Grand Tree, Newsile
Rides: 25

Dinamic Subway System

Something new coming to Dinamic Park Newsile on September 1st is the Dinamic Subway System. Replacing the monorail that closed in March 2022, the Subway is a more complicated by quicker way of transportation around the large Dinamic Park. Two main stations (one right after the ticket check and one by Cityline) connect three tracks. The three tracks go to smaller stations in different sections of the park. Track 1 goes to the west section, track 2 goes in the middle section, and track 3 goes to the east section. There are a few stations at every track. If you know where you want to go, the subway is an easy way to travel wthout walking.

CITYLINE

Every Dinamic Park apparently has a themed area called Cityline based on the “old towne” version of the city the park is located – except Newsile. Newsile’s area is built with only dark prismarine and iron doors. The ugly, gross color makes the area the worst area by a long shot. There are rumors Newsile’s Cityline area will soon be refurbished into the look of Old Town Newisle.

KIDS BACKYARD FUNLAND

A new themed area is Kids Backyard Funland, which just opened on July 29th, 2022. The area is themed to a theme park created by kids, for kids. The area replaced the Log Flume next to Willseeker, which dropped its last boarding group through the water on March 10th, 2022 before being completely dismantled and destroyed. There are 3 rides here: The Barreller, The Buccaneer, and DUMBO: The Flying Elephant. Look around the area to find little unique details. For example, the area is lit up at night not with the lanterns like the rest of the park, but with candles. If you’re a kid, it’s easier to get your hands on candles, right? There’s also references to the Log Flume, like the design of the main fountain. The restauarnt in the back is supposed to be the kids’ house – at least the back of it, making you feel more in a backyard.

RIDES

Ride #1: The Field Blazer

As you enter Dinamic Park, you’ll see this coaster on the right after the line of shops at the entrance. The Field Blazer is a coaster meant for families, but still is fun for everyone. The Field Blazer is a 7-block tall coaster that reaches top speeds of 29 miles per hour.

Ride #2: Knight Runner

Knight Runner is the 2nd wooden roller coaster built at Dinamic Park. The smaller space allows for the wooden track to go through itself most of the time with occasional decoration. This coaster exceeds the height and speed of the other wooden coaster, Willseeker, by a very small margin. Knight Runner is a 20-block tall coaster that reaches top speeds of 66 miles per hour.

Ride #3: Peril Plunge

Sadly, this coaster is no longer open. Peril Plunge thrilled its last boarding group on August 22nd, 2022. The roller coaster is still there for now, but not open. In September, the coaster will be dissmantled and a new dark ride will reportedly take its place. When it was open, Peril Plunge was a 15-block tall coaster that reached top speeds of 42 miles per hour.

Ride #4: Ultimate Flight

Ultimate Flight is one of many drop rides at the park, along with Free Fall nearby and the updated tower known as Oddlauncher farther west in the park. Of the three, Ultimate Flight is the shortest, slowest, least exciting, and lowest-powered overall. The tower has been at Dinamic Park since opening day, but has seen better days. Ultimate Flight is a 33-block tall drop tower that reaches top speeds of 36 miles per hour.

Ride #5: Frog Hoppers

Frog Hoppers is a kiddie ride that is essentially the Ultimate Flight tower but way smaller. With a minecart on a piston and a click of a button, the minecart goes up, and comes back down. While not thrilling, it is fun for kids. There are also 2 different towers with different heights and speeds. The left Frog Hopper is a 4-block tall drop tower that reaches top speeds of 14 miles per hour. The right Frog Hopper is a 3-block tall drop tower that reaches top speeds of 11 miles per hour.

Ride #6: Free Fall

The classic dropper ride that’s been at Dinamic since opening day. This ride accelerates you up a hill in the dark up to the top a tower that drops you all the way down and takes you back to the station. For a while, this was the only Dinamic Park Newsile attraction that had this dropper mechanic, but not anymore. This is one of those rides that’s based on a gimmick that is used in other rides that do it more justice. While Free Fall is unlikely to ever completely closed, a future refurbishment of some sorts would be good for this classic attraction. Free Fall is a 32-block tall coaster that reaches top speeds of 49 miles per hour, with a 41 MPH drop.

Ride #7: Hero Wall Coaster & The DROP

HERO Wall Coaster
The DROP

These are the most common rides as Dinamic Park. DROP is the Dinamic Park version of the classic boardwalk pier attraction, The Moby Dick, while HERO is a wall coaster that’s basically DROP but a weirder circle. These rides are kiddish and lack much originality. They are also in a horrible spot. These rides are ones that would not be surprising to see close in the future. Both DROP and HERO are 11-block tall attractions that reaches top speeds of 24 miles per hour.

Ride #8: The Gravitron

The classic Gravitron ride, but updated. The better-functioning Gravitron attraction spins guests as a speed of 27 rpm, which is pretty fast. However, the build quality makes it feel like a normal Gravitron. The 42 walls fly up 2 blocks at a speed of 13 miles per hour, but don’t hit the breaks fast. It feels very natural. The Gravitron attractions at Dinamic Park is a 1 min 42 second experience with neon lights and effects.

Ride #9: The X-Swing

The classic carnival ride, the Claw, is known as X-Swing here since a claw shape was replaced with a simple rectangle. The car used to swing left and right, but now swings forward and backward while spinning at the same time. The attraction goes up 98 degrees forward and backward, give great views of northern area of the park. The X-Swing is a 20-block tall attraction that reaches top speeds of 63 miles per hour.

Ride #10: Fire Flight

Fire Flight is a newer coaster that opened in January 2022. However, it has been widly considered the craziest Dinamic attraction of all time. Due to this accusation, it is probably not a surprise that Fire Flight is Dinamic Park Newsile’s tallest coaster after Race to the Moon closed in February, which was originally a block taller. Fire Flight starts by going back and forth until you shoot forward, drop down a 36-block hill, go up and down some other drops around 10-20 blocks tall, before the ultimate drop back to the station. Fire Flight is a 46-block tall coaster that reaches top speeds of 103 miles per hour.

Ride #11: Sidestepper

Currently, Sidestepper is closed for an extended refurbishment, but will reopen on September 1st, 2022. This attraction includes a first hill that then goes back and forther up hills about the same height, getting slower as you progress to the end of the ride. The oddly-built coaster has been built before in other theme parks I have built in other theme parks in other maps, but this version at Dinamic Park is the only one still standing. Sidestepper is a 10-block tall coaster that reaches top speeds of 30 miles per hour.

Ride #12: Baby’s First Bumps

Of the 8 theme parks I’ve built in this map, 6 have a version of this mini-coaster. Baby’s First Bumps is a simple coaster that is normal shaped as a rectangle that go up small hills at slow speeds. Of Dinamic’s attractions, Baby’s First Bumps is meant for the youngest riders of mainly children ages 2-5. It has been slightly modified recently, but still has 4 short drops and slow speeds for the young ones. Baby’s First Bumps is a 2-block tall coaster that reaches top speeds of 7 miles per hour.

Ride #13: The Barreller @ Funland

The newest kids’ coaster at Dinamic Park is in the brand new Kids Backyard Funland area near Cityline. To the left of the entrance is a small coaster. The fun coaster is similar to Field Blazer but slightly smaller and a few seconds shorter. The Barreller is a 5-block tall coaster that reaches top speeds of 23 miles per hour.

Ride #14: DUMBO The Flying Elephant @ Funland

DUMBO: The Flying Elephant is the classic Disney park spinner. Kids get in the elephant and can freely rise up and down. It might be only 9 miles per hour, but it’ll make the kids super happy.

Ride #15: The Buccaneer @ Funland

The classic pirate ship ride is located in Kids Backyard Funland now. The pirate ship swings back and forth, giving great views of the area, while being a fun little bit of thrill for kids. The Buccaneer is a 14-block tall attraction that reaches top speeds of 16 miles per hour.

Ride #16: The Hauntings of Dy Manor (opening 9.1.22)

The newest attraction at Dinamic Park Newsile might be the greatest attraction at the park, possibly in Newsile as a whole. The adventure takes dark rides to the next level. Dinamic Park’s answer to Busch Gardens Newsile’s  wildly popular The City of Green indoor coaster / dark ride was the Haunting of Dy Manor. The ride opens at Dinamic Park Newsile on Thursday, September 1st, 2022.

Ride #17: The Turner

Ever heard of the DISK’O boardwalk attraction? The coaster goes back and forth at fast speeds, with a short turn at the top. The Turner is a 10-block tall coaster that reaches top speeds of 28 miles per hour.

Ride #18: The Oddlauncher

The poosible replacement for Ultimate Flight is The Oddlauncher, which shoots up at fast speeds before dropping down multiple times, including the sides shooting out 3 blocks and tilting up and down. The Oddlauncher is a 30-block tall drop tower that reaches top speeds of 43 miles per hour.

Ride #19: Willseeker

The original wooden roller coaster of Dinamic Park, and also the weirdest ride name is the incredible Willseeker. What does Willseeker mean? I don’t know, ask me 11 months ago. The attraction is great Newsile wooden roller coaster, with a ride time of 3 min 8 sec and a lot of great drops, Willseeker has become the most popular ride at Dinamic Park still after a year with an average daily wait time of 150 minutes. Willseeker is a 18-block tall coaster that reaches top speeds of 51 miles per hour.

Ride #20: The Hidden Temple of the Monsters

Another very popular Dinamic attraction is The Hidden Temple of the Monsters. For a while, it was the only dark ride at the park. As you go through the creepy Monsters’ Tunnel, include water effects and a drop that will get you soaked. The ride is inspired by Jurassic Park: River Adventure at Universal Studios Islands of Adventure in Orlando, Florida. The fun attraction has thrill, scares, and fun for the whole family – plus water. The Hidden Temple of the Monsters is an 11-block tall dark ride that reaches top speeds of 46 miles per hour.

Ride #21: One-Hit Wonder

Another classic ride is One-Hit Wonder, inspired by Kingda Ka at Six Flags: Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey. The bright yellow coaster accelerates forward, up a tall hill, and back down. Sadly, this is another ride based on a gimmick made better, only focusing on speed and height, which has been beat by a couple of other rides now. Despite this, it is still fun. One-Hit Wonder is a 24-block tall coaster that reaches top speeds of 71 miles per hour.

Ride #22: Super Mario MANIA!

The next dark ride is an indoor coaster with many 8-bit, 2D images of Mario characters and enemies. This 4 min 6 second experience takes you in the first part of 1-1, underground, through a goomba, and even underwater with bloopers and cheap cheaps. Super Mario Mania is a 17-block tall indoor coaster that reaches top speeds of 48 miles per hour.

Ride #23: The Legend of Zelda: Calamity Ganon’s Ressurection

Wait, why are there Nintendo rides at Dinamic Park? Long story short, Nintendo wanted Dinamic to build a theme park, NintendoVILLE opened in Tumbleweed, Newsile, and Dinamic has the right to Nintendo’s characters. The Legend of Zelda themed attraction is a standard roller coaster that has many technical details of track changes, a track drop, and more. The Legend of Zelda: Calamity Ganon’s Ressurection is a 16-block tall coaster that reaches top speeds of 69 miles per hour.

Ride #24: Darkness Arises

The last ride based on a gimmick now used better. Darkness Arises is a short 1 min 20 second attraction in a dark show building. This is an early Dinamic attraction, but still fun. Darkness Arises is a 7-block tall indoor coaster that reaches top speeds of 48 miles per hour.

Ride #25: Triple-Axel

This large attraction has been built in other maps I’ve made, but this is the longest and fastest. This 4 minute coaster is known for 3 parts of the track going in the same direction for a second right next to each other parallel, marking a third of the ride is over. Fun, fast, and more. Triple-Axel is a 13-block tall coaster that reaches top speeds of 71 miles per hour.
