Pixar’s latest film Turning Red has dropped on Disney+ and so I had to rewatch it many times and analyze it to find as many hidden details as possible. While finding little details to the short films Bao and Kitbull to the famous Pizza Planet Truck, A113, and Luxo Ball, I’m going to go over every easter egg I found in Turing Red.
Bao Restaurant
As the film begins, Mei goes on a bus after ditching her friends to go home. As she’s getting off the bus, a sign for a restaurant called Bao Restuaurant is in the background. The logo for Bao is the same one in the Pixar short Bao in 2018, even featuring the dumpling in the O.

Kitbull
Another Pixar short called Kitbull (a sparkshort for Disney+) is referenced in the bathroom of Mei’s school when her friends drag her in there after throwing the dodgeball through the window. The word “Kitbull” is written on a stall, similar to how it is in the logo with the graffiti look.

Not Nokia, In the Pixar Universe It’s Jokia
This isn’t really an easter egg. it’s just a small detail I found that I thought was funny. When a girl in Mei’s school texts out that panda pics are happening in Room 202, she of course texts on an older smartphone: a Nokia. Only here it’s called a Jokia. Remember, the first iPhone wasn’t released until 5 years after this movie is supposed to take place, so it’s smart that they did this; and even funnire they named it differently.

Mike Wazowski Shirt
The last Pixar easter egg (not a main one) is just seconds after the phone, in which a boy runs up to a line to get pictures before Abby lets them all in. The second boy in line from the front has a shirt that looks like a green sheeled with an sideways crescent moon and a black dot. But no. It’s just Mike Wazowski from Monsters, Inc. This boy has good taste.

Pizza Planet Truck
The famous Pixar easter egg that’s been in every film (except The Incredibles) since 1995 is continuing the streak with an appearance in Turning Red. Toward the end as Mei runs to the concert as a panda, the truck appears just before she leaps into the air, parked on the side of the road.

A113
To find A113, you actually have to wait until the movie has already ended. While it’s showing the music artists about an hour and 36 minutes in, there are 4-Town tickets on the left. Take a look at the top the top corners to spot the famous number.

Luxo Ball
While the ball isn’t to difficult to locate, it’s only on screen for about a split second. During Tyler’s panda ride, they go past his home’s pool. If you look closely, ypu’ll see a Luxo Ball floating around the pool.

That’s all I found in Turning Red. Let me know what you found below.
