Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse SPOILER-FREE REVIEW

The long-awaited return of Miles Morales is finally here with the arrival of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. Following the critically-acclaimed predecessor, the following film had some heavy weight to lift, along with a lot more Spider-Man to control, but does it achieve all that along with keeping the things we loved about Into the Spider-Verse? Here’s my review of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-VerseSpoiler-Free! This review will not spoil any major plot points or details for anyone who has yet to see the newest Spider-Man adventure. Now, without further ado, let’s do this one last time.

Everything we know about Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse | Space

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse plot is on a much larger scale and more complicated than its predecessor’s in many ways. Instead of multiple Spider-people being sent into Miles Morales’ universe and all of them stopping the evil Kingpin, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse takes you into the multiverse (or the Spider-Verse) where we learn many things about how it works, and many problems ensue. I won’t spoil them here, but let me just say that the topics get intense.

One notable thing about Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is how it’s a bit more mature compared to its predecessor. Lots more is happening, the story is a bit more complicated, and a couple of bad words are said. However, all of this makes for a really enjoyable Spider-Man film. While young kids probably can’t see it, anyone like seven or older could (if you’re asking me.)

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse didn’t just have a wonderful story, but also wonderful animation we hadn’t seen before. It looked like it was taken right out of the concept art, and it made the movie feel like a comic book coming alive. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is no different, and for certain parts, even better. The few dimensions explored in the movie have a slightly different visual style, and all of them are breathtaking. It makes the movie look even less realistic, but I don’t care about that. The animation is breathtaking and perfect for this film.

Overall, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is an overwhelmingly epic Spider-Man adventure with spectacular animation, an amazing plot, and lots of excitement. While Spider-Man fans will get the most out of it, action and animation fans alike will surely be delighted with this superhero Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. A stellar 5.9/6 on the Ryan Meter as a top-tier superhero, animation, and action movie. And well, I think you know the rest.
