The newest TrollKing5 Presents is here! The video features 15 minutes of announcements of Super Mario Maker 2 levels we are working on for 2023, as well as some for 2024. You can watch the video below, or read about each announcement, including screenshots. Alright, let’s begin.
TrollKing5 Ghost House Maze 2
The sequel to the 2021 level TrollKing5 Ghost House Maze is here! In TrollKing5 Ghost House Maze 2, there are three mazes, just like the original. The first maze is what you’ll start out with, then you can play one of the other two. One of these two main mazes is more puzzle-based, while the other is more like a standard maze. TrollKing5 Ghost House Maze 2 releases in Super Mario Maker 2 on September 17th, 2023. Watch the trailer below for more:
Wall Jump Flight
Coming later this month is a brand-new platforming level called Wall Jump Flight. Here, you’ll navigate by wall-jumping across one-way walls throughout the entire level. There are some resting points, but the custom scroll won’t let you take long. That’s right; Wall Jump Flight will be the first official TrollKing5 level to use the custom scroll feature. It will guide you in which way you have to wall jump. This level isn’t easy, so will you accept this challenge? Wall Jump Flight comes to Super Mario Maker 2 on August 27th, 2023.
Climbing Mount Ryan – Royale
In this 4-player level, players will have to climb the iconic Mount Ryan, only this time, the winner is who can reach the top first. The level is split into three zones, with the mountain made of hard, ice, and music blocks. Prove you’re the greatest climber on Mount Ryan when Climbing Mount Ryan – Royale comes to Super Mario Maker 2 on October 8th, 2023.
Sorry, Tyler 3: Master Sword?
Sorry, Tyler 3 is now in development. The level is being made by the teams behind Sorry, Tyler 2: Superball and Link in the Mushroom Kingdom. Sorry, Tyler 3: Master Sword will be the final troll level developed by TrollKing5. Sorry, Tyler 3: Master Sword is coming soon to Super Mario Maker 2, so please stay tuned for any updates.
The Eight Keys of Donut Plains & Seven Keys 3
Because of the success of The Seven Keys of Donut Plains earlier this year, TrollKing5 has planned at least two more Seven Keys levels. The first will release toward the end of this year, in November or December, called The Eight Keys of Star Road. It will have a much different setting and map than The Seven Keys of Donut Plains, and we hope you are looking forward to it and the third Seven Keys level in development, releasing in 2024.
Mario Kart: Maker Cup
TrollKing5 is bringing Mario Kart and Super Mario Maker 2 together with a brand new one-of-a-kind level. This is Mario Kart: Maker Cup. The level includes large set pieces, technical effects, and so much more. You can either race through the level quickly or you can take the time to find the keys placed all around each lap, which offers a special reward at the end of the race. Mario Kart: Maker Cup will be coming this December to Super Mario Maker 2.
The Night War Part One Recreated
That’s right. The original Night War level is being recreated. The level will now be in the New Super Mario Bros. U game style. Aside from some small changes to make the overall experience better, we also have added new section to the level. We hope this will expand the love for this classic TrollKing5 level, while introducing it to a new audience. Also, since The Night War Part One Recreated is bringing much larger changes and additions than any other TrollKing5 remake to date, the level is not going anywhere after it is released. The remake and the original Night War will both be permanent levels in the TrollKing5 library. The Night War Part One Recreated is now released in Super Mario Maker 2, so we hope you check it out. Time, Lava, & Claws 3
Time, Lava, & Claws 3 is now in development! While the trailer shown in the TrollKing5 Presents doesn’t show actual gameplay, it does offer a glimpse of what the level with end up being. Time, Lava, & Claws 3 will include more items and characters during you ascent. The trailer shows off Bowser Jr., Mechakoopas, and even Yoshi. Time, Lava, & Claws 3 comes to Super Mario Maker 2 in the first quarter of 2024, so please stay tuned for more information.
Forest of Illusions: Deep Woods
The sequel to Forest of Illusions is just 2 months away! Releasing on October 15th, Forest of Illusions: Deep Woods will dive deeper into the main concept of the original level, while enhancing it and making the sequel even more strange and unique.
